About Ironart Design & Blacksmithing
Jim Blower has been working as
an artist blacksmith for 25 years in the design industry.
Producing high quality work which combines traditional
and modern techniques to create exicting and innovative
ironwork. Ironart can offer a design & blacksmithing,
general metalwork welding & fabrication.
"At Ironart I like to work with clients to design
and make an item to suit their particular needs and
environment, be it furniture or an architectural fitting.
These pieces can then be enjoyed for many years to
come."
All scrolls are hand made over the anvil at the workshop
to achieve a truely graceful shape to suit the project,
as opposed to buying inferior mass produced items
and trying to make them fit a design they were not
made specifically for.
Forged ironwork will last for decades when worked
correctly and maintained properly. Its applications
are endless when thought and good design principals
are applied.
Products include: balustrading, fencing, gates, shelf
brackets, dining tables, chairs, stools, sofas, beds,
bedside tables, coffee tables, console/entry tables,
door handles, light fittings, candelabras, wine racking,
outdoor furniture, screens, wall units, book shelving,
sculpture, shop fittings, fire pokers, hand made nuts
and bolts, curtain rails, plant stands, reception
units, staircases or whatever you desire.
